Whats in your Shopping Trolley

It still amazes me how trekking around the supermarket and pursuing a raw food lifestyle can still entice me to choose foods less than raw.  The supermarkets are filled with stuff that you dont really need but are so damn addictive that its hard for the most hardcore vegan to say no.  This stuff is brightly coloured and packaged so cleverly that any human would look in total fascination as to what it actually is and need I forget how it tastes!  When the price is so cheap how can we resist?
These companies must spend millions on advertising and flavour enhancements to make sure they net a sale and keep you addicted.
I have to say most of the aisles I dont bother with these days.  Unless you grow your own or become food free then you have to partake in these shops because there isnt really any other option when on foot in the local area.  Yes we could all eat weeds and buy our foods on line however the reality is that at some point fresh fruit is nice and therefore a trip to the local supermarket is in order.
I dare not look at what other people eat anymore for fear of making a rather rude loud remark, but whatever as long as it makes them happy.  I am no exception when it comes to the crap.  I have been eating raw for several years but those addictive sugars get the better of me.  I would like to say I am 100% vegan raw however why would I want to put myself in that box?  I have never been 100% vegan even though I am thinking that the health benefits would probably be awesome.  Most people are so addicted to their comfort foods that this may never be an option.  They would not have it any other way.  Me however, I am thinking how I can curb those bad habits to zero.  I would like to live as nature intended or as I perceive the concept of how mother nature intended us to be if you can do that in this twisted world we live in.  I mean think about the concept of buying food I mean, they really got us with that one didnt they?!
It would be nice to imagine a world where you did not have to pay for food it was provided for however somewhere in my memory is a film called Soylent Green...
Perhaps Government food is a bad idea, but what about fruit forests or community run farms?  Is this just idealist or could it actually work?  Would the whole of the human consciousness have to be completely raised so that we become less mind numbingly bored mass consumers and actually see the connection between the earth and food?  If that happened maybe we wouldnt eat at all?!
So what exactly is in my shopping trolley?  Well if you want to be specific it is probably 80/10/10.. 80% Real Food 10% Junk and 10% household items.  Perhaps I should just eat fruit?
