I swelled over nothing but others remain slim Why
Despite their best efforts, there are all the time trying to fight against the pounds while others rush anything and remain stubbornly slim.
Justice is not always appropriate in terms of weight. But the behavior plays. Decryption.
The weight of heredity
For a long time we know that a child born of two parents of normal weight has only 10% chance of becoming obese. If its Mom or Dad, that risk increases to 40%. And if Mom and Dad, this dual risk.
Over the years, scientists have identified the genes responsible for weight gain and they are constantly finding new ones. But in practice, this does not change the problem: we can not change their genes, we have to make do.
Conclusion: if there is a big or large in your immediate family, you have no choice but to move as much as possible to increase your energy expenditure and to hold on to a balanced diet.
The obsession pounds
Thin usually ignore the scale. Sometimes they do not even have a home, and they do weigh during a medical visit.
You are among those who start their day by weighing or worse, that confront their balance several times a day? You have a super sophisticated balance that tells you the fat, muscle mass, and - horror! - Talking to you and you feel guilty from a difference of 200 g?
In one day, your weight can vary from 1 to 3 kg, and for various reasons: the degree of hydration, food composition, etc.
When your weight increases by a few hundred grams, you deprive yourself of eating, consciously or unconsciously. When he did not move or has declined, you lift your foot on deprivation.
Accordingly? You unbalance your diet and most importantly, youre listening to your feelings of hunger and satiety. This is the best way to grow. The more you are obsessed with your weight, the more you earn (badly) to take chances!
The solution? Write down your weight a morning fasting after peeing. Then store your balance at the bottom of a closet (which you need to clear to get it back). Retract it a month later and weigh yourself under the same conditions. So the difference, plus or minus, will be really valuable.
Lack of sleep
You fold late, you get up early, you have trouble falling asleep? In short, your nights are too short. And you catch your lack of sleep during the weekend.
It is not impossible that those pounds easily if you take just that. Researchers at the University of Washington found that sleeping less than seven hours a night promoted weight gain: genes for obesity begin at rest during sleep. So the more you sleep, the less they work.
On the other hand, lack of sleep, it tires. To fight against this strain was much more likely to snack on fatty and sugary stuff, drinking well sugary sodas rather than water, and all this upsets the balance and food makes you fat.
The solution? Nights of at least 8 hours! Buckle the TV, the computer, tablet, smartphone early (to calm your brain) and lie down with a book earlier.
"And yet I do not eat anything! "
This is what we often hear from the mouths of too big (or those who think they are too big) after moaning thin eating what they want.
But when subjected to a tight food situation, established day by day for a week, then you realize they multiply unconsciously feeding mistakes.
Too much oil and / or butter (depending on region) for cooking, irregular meals, a distinct lack of vegetables and fruits. They do not nibble as they watch, or else they creak occasionally in guilt.
The solution? For one week, write every day (on a notebook or a file in your smartphone) absolutely everything, that you swallow when you swallow. And then compare with a balanced 1800/2000 calories (if you have no physical activity) and 2000/2200 calorie diet, if you do a bit of sport.
Take also into account what you are buying as fat (oil, butter, margarine) and then calculate the average consumption over a week. If you exceed the 200 to 300 g per week, all combined fat is too much. And this may be one reason for your easy weight gain.
"I must make Plan"
Thats what you say and do often. For years, maybe even since you were a teenager, you have accumulated blackout periods more or less wild that made you lose 2 or 3 kg quickly resumed.
The result? You completely unbalanced your body. By dint of being pushed around and your body has lost its bearings.
He defends physiologically - it is equipped for it - by making provisions for the next famine: it slows its calorie burning when you do not bring him enough and he makes up fat during times of plenty.
The solution? Eat a balanced diet based on your height and your weight and forget this obsession pounds. You lose slowly but definitely.
eating slowly
At what speed do you eat? How long do you stay at the table?
If you swallow all round, if your meals are shipped within 15 to 20 minutes, there is a good chance that you will never feel you truly satisfied.
Twenty minutes is the time it takes your satiety center to initiate and send the positive signals of satiation. When you eat fast, you did not have time to work well and does not record what you have to swallow.
The result? You will never feel really good, you have all the time want to eat something. You resist but you often crack.
Thin eat slowly, they take the time to appreciate what they have on their plate (or sandwich lunch), they are naturally in tune with their feelings, they stop spontaneously when satiated. Thus, they do not eat beyond their energy needs.
The solution? Force yourself at all costs to eat slowly. This will ask you for a big effort, but it will annoy you, whether or not genetically predisposed to weight gain, its the right solution to not get fat

I CAN NOT LOSE WEIGHT WHY
Snacks, temptations, compulsions, poor eating habits are all reasons why we can not seem to lose weight. Explanations ...
snacking
It can eat through automation, without realizing it, without any real desire or hunger, passing in front of the fridge or cupboard. This snacking behavior, source of calories, it is well known among children, but there are also adults. One way to fight against this trend is to simply provide a lunch or snack when you need it most. It is the fact of thinking that will control himself better. snacking

This snacking behavior, source of calories, it is well known among children, but there are also adults. One way to fight against this trend is to simply provide a lunch or snack when you need it most. It is the fact of thinking that will control himself better.
temptations
There is also a trend that was to resist the pressure of food when we see them, feel them, we taste ... This is what is known hypersensitivity to food stimuli. Here again, a few simple rules allow us to fight against this natural tendency well:
do not let the long flat on the table,
do not keep the chocolate bar or packet of biscuits started next to you,
eat slowly to be quite sensitive to satiety signals and learn to respect his feelings,
do not go shopping hungry because it opens the door to indiscriminate purchases ...
The compulsive tendencies
Finally, the most difficult, the trends are called "compulsive". These trends correspond to the desires, urgent needs to eat with a feeling of loss of control followed by a strong sense of guilt. These trends often respond to a state of anxiety, stress, discomfort, resulting in a vicious circle. They contribute to the negative feeling of being constantly "at fault" for lack of cracked fault for not having enough will, lack of feeling lousy ?? Negative feeling which only increases the self-esteem of trouble already linked to this feeling of discomfort in his body.
Analyze why
Work against these trends is primarily to analyze how well the register of emotions appear cravings or these needs: anger, rage, nervousness, fear, depression ?? This negative feeling will be "fought" by eating. A quiet and well-being occur then, unfortunately fleeting because soon followed by a sense of guilt. By becoming aware of these feelings, these feelings, it is already possible to appease a part of but also to find ways to break this chain of behavior that is repeated multiple times.
"Asking"
This man (or woman) comes home from work upset, stressed from a difficult day, falls on the food upon arrival at home every day trying to resist this trend ... Why not break the rhythm and rituals and evening eg changing into returning or shower to "wash away all the stress of the day ?? "Settle quietly and comfortably for a few minutes of relaxation before resuming the evening. The activities sometimes enough to" ask "and expand his vision to finally realize that many solutions are possible us apart from the food. The situations are not always easy and sometimes it eating disorder requires care and psychological support. But one thing is certain: it is important to focus on his feelings to distinguish hunger pangs of desire to eat. In the same vein, it is worth asking what actually brought the food? A he calmed our anxiety, our anger, our fears, our lack of affection ?? By being a little more attentive to these different feelings or emotions these, it is possible to really advance in more control of how we eat.

Should I End My Life
Should I End My Life
Most of us (especially those who have seen a lot of ups and downs in life) at a certain point must have thought about ending your life. But do u really think that you have the right to end your life. Sometimes we are in so much physical or psychological pain that we think to end all that pain by ending ourselves. I expect your thoughts at the end of this article to get your views on this thing too. But at this time lets proceed with my views.
Our life outcome of someone elses effort. Those someone else are not just our parents, its not just our
mother or father. Those someone include our friends, brothers and sisters, our spouse, our children. Life is not just taking birth. Life is much more than that. Its also connected to a number of other lives. We are a just a part of a social network. Our one decision can make a lot of effects on lives of other people.

Sometimes we think that others dont like us, dont trust us, they dont need us any more. But its just our thinking (mostly for a few hours or days). Some of us make a very hard decision during that time. If we wait for a few more hours or speak to someone regarding our feelings then we might not take such step. We might think that no body need us, but there is always somebody who cant live without you, for whom you are very special. That special person may be your father , mother, friend, spouse, son or daughter. You might be thinking that that person dont need you anymore as he / she is angry with you. But it doesnt mean that he / she will live happily without you. If you love him / her then you will not want to make them unhappy and regret their one fight with you for their whole life.
Even if you think that that special person want to get rid of you, but you love him / her and want to fulfill his / her wish by ending your life. In that case there might be somebody else who need you much more than him / her.
We think that our life our own, but its not. it belongs to everybody who are part of your life. Just think about those who will feel lonely without you. Who loved you more than their own life, who struggled to make you a better person, who took you to doctors when you were ill, who wept when you were in pain, who wanted to make your life better, who spent their lives to make you something. It doesnt matter if you have reached you goal in life or not. But there are still chances. But if you end yourselves those chances will be gone. There is always a way towards better life. Dont let that chance end. HOPE is everything. Hope for better !
I BUY I NOT BUY BRICK MILK FOR LOSING WEIGHT OF CRACKERS FOR DRINK ANTIBACTERIAL CLEANERS

Each month, The health dietician, alerts you on a few products that have challenged. This month, its yogurt and milk cartons, frozen vegetables, crackers and pistachios, and antibacterial products.
Buy six yogurt glass jars
so as to recover the necessary containers and then make my yogurt myself! Its easy, you do not even need a yogurt maker when following the advice and recipes provided by the health dietician in "Yogurt" to Solar Editions. And it costs less than yogurt trade.
I do not buy those pink milk cartons
intended to suppress appetite (and therefore to lose weight) despite the pub makes me laugh out loud. His "100% natural active ingredient" added to milk is made from palm oil (harmful to the arteries) and oats, cocoa powder, milk protein, green tea extract, stabilizers (E 407, E 460, E 466), sweetener, and an antioxidant. I really do not see how this "active principle" is natural !! And why swallow this mixture to 4 € per liter while an apple or a boiled egg have the same effect appetite suppressant?
Buy frozen vegetables
because in winter its still the best way to vary your diet and get out of the endless carrot and leek that are in season. Certainly zucchini, peppers, tomatoes etc. are in the markets, from Morocco or even further but they are much more expensive. And frozen foods, vitamins side, its great because they are from their harvest!
I do not buy appetizers crackers
because when I start a box (60 g), I can not stop to chew on. And when I look at the composition of the package: "Wheat flour, vegetable fat, grated cheese - dried 4%, sugar, baking powders: ammonium hydrogen carbonate, monocalcium orthophosphate - sodium bicarbonate, salt 1.5% sesame seeds and poppy 1.5%, glucose-fructose syrup, malted barley flour, dry yeast, lactose and milk protein, flavoring, soy, "I shudder with horror.
I buy Pistachio nuts
even if they provide more calories (615 to 100 g) crackers (515). But I eat less because it takes me time to dissect them and chew them. In addition they contain magnesium, full of antioxidants and it gives me a good conscience.
I do not buy antibacterial cleaners
since I read a very serious Canadian study demonstrating their danger. Indeed, they contain similar substances antibiotic hence enhancing strength thereof and the risk of development of stronger bacteria. This phenomenon of resistance and obsession with hygiene already facing enough problems, useless to add!

Welcome to the great-big-huge-honking site redesign! Its new. Its different. But all of your favorite (and even your not-so-favorite) recipes are all here, and all of your bookmarks will continue to work forever and ever.
Ive wanted to tie my different writing endeavors together for quite a while now, and Jennette Fulda, of Make My Blog Pretty figured it out.
Because she is wonderful.
Im still playing around with the features and learning the ins and outs of the software (Im a slow learner) but I couldnt be happier.
I hope you enjoy the new design and the new features in the header. Theres also a brand new home page thats pretty cool (it moves! and has random generator thingies!) Youll find links to pretty much anything I could think of that you might want/need, and theres a shiny new downloadable page with free stuff on it.
Just for you.
This website makeover is in honor of my new book: Totally Together: Shortcuts to an Organized Life
I began writing this book when my oldest child was a baby---over nine years ago. I was running a drop-in childcare center at the local courthouse and my little one came to work with me every day. I was listening to time management seminars on tape while I worked, and kept thinking that there should be a day timer for moms. Not a blank one--- those already existed--- I wanted someone to TELL me what to do.
I wanted someone (or thing) to tell me to change the sheets, to disinfect the remote controls, to wipe down the blinds, and to call my mom. I wanted to be reminded to do a breast self-exam and to make dental appointments for me and the family. I wanted someone to walk me through the Winter Holiday months (in a non-preachy or judgmental way).
I wanted encouragement. And someone to tell me I was doing a good job, even when I was sleep-deprived and had spit-up in my hair.
So I emailed the Franklin Covey company and told them that they should make a planner for moms. I corresponded back and forth with their development department a few times before I was kind of blown off (they sent me a 15% off coupon and a form letter).
I then did what any good red-blooded American would do. I got mad and made one of my very own.
This book has had a rather long and difficult pregnancy. It took me 2 years for me to find and secure a literary agent, then another 3 years for her to find a publisher (Ive got an awfully nice collection of reject letters).
And then that publisher backed out (due to the economy) after it was ready to go to print.
(years 6 and 7)
and it took another year for me to find a new publisher.
(year 8)
meanwhile, the crockpot thing was taking on a life of its own, for which I am eternally grateful, because if it wasnt for the crockpot thing, this book wouldnt have come to life.
but its here. And its because of you.
Thank you.
I really hope you enjoy it.
reprinted from the Introduction:
"There is just too much to do and nowhere near enough time to do it!" All over the world women are faced with the daily dilemma of trying to cram more and more into an already over-crowded schedule. Who has time for a monthly breast self-exam when there is weekly dusting and vacuuming, daily meal planning, hourly diapers to change, a baby to nurse, and a sibling argument to referee every five to ten minutes? How on earth can moms take the time to exercise and floss when showering daily is a luxury in which many dont indulge?
As a new mom I found myself wishing for some sort of guide that laid everything out. Some sort of system that reminded me to make dental appointments for everyone in the family every six months. A planner to help with the daily, weekly, and monthly chores so nothing was forgotten. A little bird to whisper in my ear that its time to update the baby book and family scrapbook. A pat on the back and a friendly nudge to take a long bath and take the time to shave my legs properly.
I came up with Totally Together: Shortcuts to an Organized Life as a way to help me as I waded through the vast number of "shoulds" and "shouldnts" that I came across in parenting, housekeeping, and self-help books and magazines. Totally Together gave me the permission and tools I needed to whip through the daily chores and minutiae and move on to what I really wanted to do: spend time with my family and enjoy living life. My hope is that your Totally Together journal will be of help to you and your family, too.
Have a fantastic day. I hope you enjoy the new site, and thank you deeply for your love and support-- it means so very much. xoxo steph

What I learned in Mexico…
I’ve just returned from what I hope will continue to be an annual Dailey Method health and happiness retreat in Sayulita, Mexico, produced by my Pediatrician Lindy Woodard, and her knowledgeable, generous team. The four days incorporate a variety of Dailey Method classes and workshops in addition to different discussions on subjects pertaining to how to deepen our happiness and health as we navigate forward in our lives. We are given guidance in introspection and then have conversations with wise women to help learn from their experiences. It’s incredibly helpful in furthering my insight into where I would like to expand or shift in my life - (which is exciting!) but notably the hardest part is taking the information back home and letting it integrate into everyday life.
Here are three things that were strong takeaways for me from this years retreat:
Selfishness, there tends to be a negative connotation around this word but when you take time for yourself, be it four days in Mexico or even an afternoon reading and writing in bed, it’s really about self care. I actually (lovingly) got called out for using that word because I do have some fear about being selfish, especially when it comes to my family or my business. I am going to try and reframe that word when it pops into mind because there is no doubt that when I take care of myself I am better able to serve and care for others. It’s also important to remember to do it on a regular basis - we shouldn’t wait until we’re completely depleted to carve out the time for self! A little here and there strategically can go a long way.
Acknowledgement was a big theme over the week. I know how important it is to acknowledge the people in my life on a regular basis. Showing someone that you’ve truly seen what they do, that you appreciate it and are grateful, can go a long way in creating stronger relationships or just to make someone else a little happier, more confident or feel needed. I know that I am pretty good about sincerely acknowledging most people in my life but there are a few that I either assume know how much I love and need them or that for whatever reason it’s harder to express it to them. One of my intentions for practicing this skill is acknowledging my kids and thanking them when they do their chores instead of only scolding them when they don’t. I’m sure the latter will kick in regularly (daily) but I’m confident if the acknowledgement can stay consistent it will trend to create change in both my own frustration level and their willingness to be more proactive.
Expanding my own and my family’s diet is something I continually strive for and both retreat years I’ve gotten a wealth of ideas, insight and knowledge about food choices and preparations that have me highly inspired to cook! Lindy and Genie (our food team) do not believe that one diet is right for everyone but that we need to listen to our own bodies to learn what is right for us as individuals. They prescribe the food we eat be (when ever possible) organic, non-gmo, fresh, heavy in plants, lots of variety and colors and sustainable. They look at food as medicine but without sacrificing flavor. A theory I love to prescribe to: eat what best serves your health but still thoroughly enjoy the process.
I came back this year with the goal of stocking condiments and toppings and using them liberally for more flavorful, satisfying and nutrient rich meals. I am going to experiment with creating more bowls as meals and layering on different levels of flavors or textures. It’s easy to start with a base (rice, beans, veggies, fruit) and let your family tailor it to their specific tastes. Offering multiple toppings so that hopefully they will have variety and also learn to experiment with foods and flavors.
Besides just offering fresh cut vegetables or herbs as additions, Lindy and Genie defined 5 layers of flavor to consider. Below I gave you an example of two or three of my favorites of each category.
Crunchy- chia seeds, pumpkin seeds and walnuts
Creamy- coconut oil, aioli and greek yoghurt
Spicy- red pepper flakes and any hot sauce. This is a big one for me- I pretty much love it if it’s spicy!
Salty- olives and gomasio - Lindy and Genie use this a lot and I think my kids will love it. It’s a nutritious salt alternative!
Sour- lemon, pickles and sauerkraut
Adios mis amigos,

Eating habits cause obesity overweight reasons obese How do I avoid weight gain diet foods
It does not matter what we eat is important to the time in which they eat; eating habits cause obesity; overweight; appropriate times to eat; How do I avoid weight gain; eating too much at night lead to the accumulation of fat
Study: It does not matter what we eat is important while we eat
Night eating can lead to obesity even when eating the same amount of calories during the day
The researchers say the body tends to turn food into fat in the night, while used as a source of energy in the daytime.
I found a study published in the Journal of "Karin biological" the system of normal sleep disorder or called mph biological, leads to a metabolic disorder, where the body tends to the formation and storage of fat even when eating the same amount of calories, or the same diet regime.
The researcher said Carl Johnson, a biology specialist time at the University, "Vanderbilt" "It does not matter what we eat, but what is important while we eat."
What explains the phenomenon of overweight and obesity in people who work the night shift system, making the proportion of exposure to high diabetes.
It is noteworthy that previous studies have shown the presence of changes patrol regularly in blood sugar levels in humans during the day, even if maintained to give the same amount of sugar syrup, intravenously around the clock, has been linked to the scientists those results with insulin in the blood, and this is demonstrated by the study
